Light and Love Home was first established in Hong Kong in 1983 by a group of Christians who saw the expanding need for community service. Today, Light and Love Home in Hong Kong has become a member agency of both the Community Chest of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (Please visit Light and Love Home in Hong Kong website for details) .

With church members resettled abroad, the service of Light and Love Home has been extended to other cities (Please visit LLH Allies for details).

Light and Love Home in Vancouver was founded in 2003 as a registered non-profit organization. With the enthusiastic support from the Church of God in Vancouver and Light and Love Home Allies in North America, we aim to provide effective service to the community of Vancouver.
